Privacy policy
Opt-Out Clerk is a small service that files official opt-out requests. This page explains what we take in, what we refuse, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
If you hire us, we collect the information in your intake packet: names you use, cities and states, optional phone numbers or email addresses that already appear on listings, listing URLs you paste, and a contact email so we can reach you. If you pay, Stripe also processes your payment. We do not receive your full card number.
What we refuse
We do not want your Social Security number, passwords, one-time codes, or copies of government ID. If a people-search site requires an ID upload, we send you that site's own link and you upload it there.
How we use it
We use your information only to search for your listings, submit opt-out or deletion requests, send your report, and — if you buy Watch — re-check later. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use intake data to market unrelated products.
Where it goes
The companies we file with receive whatever their official form asks for, which is usually a name, a listing URL, a city, and a working email so they can confirm the request. Your intake packet is generated in your browser; it is not stored on this website. After you send it to us, we keep it in a private working folder while the job is open.
How long we keep it
We keep working files until 90 days after your Sweep ends, or 90 days after Watch is canceled. We keep invoice records as long as tax rules require. We then delete the intake details we no longer need.
Your choices
You can email us and ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (we will still keep what the law requires for invoices). If this site later publishes a contact email, use that address. Until then, send the request the same way you sent your intake packet.
This website
This marketing site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It does not create user accounts and does not run its own intake database.
